‘In de nabijheid van’

Today there are a lot of empty public buildings, which will get a new function. Inspired by the way you enter a building I designed a plug-in entrance for a new use of an existing building. By approaching the building, it is immediately clear that the building has a new function.

Generally a door is the entrance, this is a harsh change, going from one space to another. By extending the passage there will be more time to experience the transition and to adapt to the new space. By using light and colour in the design it becomes clear that this specific building has been revived.
